What to build in EVE Online
Pick where you buy materials, where you sell and where the jobs run, and see every blueprint ranked by what it actually leaves in your wallet - per job and per hour of factory time.
What is counted
- Materials at the hub you choose - bought from sell orders, or with your own buy orders (then the broker fee is added). Material efficiency is applied per job, the way the game rounds it.
- Components are bought by default. With Build when cheaper every part that has a manufacturing blueprint is priced both ways and the cheaper one wins - down the whole chain. Reactions and planetary goods stay bought; their own calculators are the reactions calculator and the PI calculator.
- Job cost from the estimated item value, the system cost index, the structure bonus, facility tax and the SCC surcharge.
- Sale at the hub you choose: listing a sell order pays the broker fee and sales tax, selling into buy orders pays the sales tax only.
Profit you can actually make
A big margin on an item that sells twice a month is not income. The Sold / day column is the traded volume in the selling hub's region over the last seven days, straight from EVE, and below it how many days of that volume one job would flood the market with. Competition counts the sell orders already standing at the hub. For a full shopping list of one build, use the industry cost calculator.
