What the table shows

One row per order. Besides price and quantity you get the station it sits in, the security band of its system, when the order was last modified and when it expires. Give the search a starting station and it also works out how many gate jumps away each order is, so a cheap price in null-sec stops looking like a bargain when it is twenty jumps out.

Sell and buy orders are counted separately, so a deep sell side never crowds the buy side out of the result. Prices come from stored ESI snapshots - the header always says how old the market data is, because a stale price is worse than no price.
