What a system page answers
Security status and who holds sovereignty, the gates out and where each one leads, every planet with its moons, asteroid belts and stations - and, on the first tab, what has been dying there over the last hours and days.
Names in EVE are not unique and stations get renamed, so the address carries the system id and the name is only decoration. A link stays valid after a rename.
Contents come from scanning
Planets, moons and stations are read from the game servers one system at a time, so a system nobody has asked about yet shows its gates and security but an empty contents list. That is a different answer from "there is nothing here", and the page says which one it is.
