The EVE Online item catalogue
Everything EVE Online lets you own, in one list: ships, modules, ammunition, minerals and the planetary goods they are built from. Each item has its own page with prices from the markets we track.
What is in here - and what is not
The catalogue lists published items only. EVE's dictionary holds over fifty thousand type ids, but most of them are husks: wrecks, effects, test objects and things long removed from the game. The same flag that decides whether an item exists in the client decides whether it shows up here.
There are no prices in this table on purpose. A price is a question about one item in one place, and the item's own page answers it properly - best sell and best buy, region by region, with every order we have stored. Pricing five hundred rows so that somebody can look at one would be work without a reason.
From an item to what it is made of
Items that come from a blueprint carry a build link straight into the manufacturing calculator: it works out every material, prices the whole list at one region's orders and draws the production chain as a graph. Items nobody manufactures - ore, ice, salvage - do not have that link, because for them the answer would be an empty screen.
