Alliance over time

The game publishes only the current numbers, so these lines start on the day we first wrote them down.

Pilots
Everyone in every member corporation, added up.
Corporations
How many corporations flew under the banner that day.
Systems held
Sovereignty on the map that day. Zero is an answer, not a gap.

Who flies under this banner, what it holds in New Eden and who has come and gone.

Where these numbers come from

Corporation and pilot counts are ours, not CCP's: the game servers publish which corporations belong to an alliance, and we add up what each of them reports. An alliance we have not read yet shows no counts at all rather than zeros - those are different answers.

Membership history comes straight from the game servers and reaches back to the day each corporation was founded. It is the one history EVE hands out for free; sovereignty history, by contrast, has to be recorded as it happens.
