EVE Online D-Scan analyser
Open the directional scanner in game, press Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C and paste the result here. No account, no login - the tool exists to be used mid-fight.
What you get back
- Ships grouped by class - frigates, cruisers, battleships, capitals - so a wall of two hundred lines becomes "twelve cruisers and a carrier".
- On grid or not. A scan mixes what is next to you with what is a hundred thousand kilometres out; the split matters, because only one of those can shoot you right now.
- Distances for everything the scanner reported them for.
- ISK on the field - hulls valued at Jita prices, so you know whether you are looking at a roaming gang or a fleet worth dying to.
Names it does not recognise
Entries whose type is not in the database stay on the list, marked, rather than being dropped. A silently shorter list would be worse than an honest one: you would have to count lines to notice something is missing, and in a scan that is exactly the moment you cannot afford to.
Sharing a scan
A scan can be saved to a link that stays alive for 90 days, with the prices of the day it was made frozen in - so whoever opens it sees the same numbers you did. Those links are not indexed by search engines: the unguessable token is the only access control, and a scan you sent to your fleet is not something to publish to the world.
